Passion for active

Hi, I'm Tomi Toivonen from Finland. I've been an avid active pickups user in the many metal bands over the decades I've had the pleasure to have a part in. A couple years ago now, I had the idea of finding out what makes active guitar pickups tick, and if they possibly could be advanced in some way.

In 2023, after some years of product development, we launched our first range of pickups that aim to bring the good things we like about passive pickups to the active world, namely customizability, good dynamics and a range of output choises.

Handbuilt, handwound

All our pickups are made entirely by hand in our small workshop in Tampere Finland. We have large woodworking facilities so pickups are heavily modifiable with flamed maple covers, exotic woods, magnets types, your imagination is the limit here.
